Faith in Jesus Christ.

How Do We Exercise Faith in Christ?

In order to exercise faith in Jesus Christ, we must show our belief and trust in Him by learning His will for us and then following it.

This process includes learning the law of God as contained in the scriptures as well as learning to hear and follow the voice of the Spirit, which is the word of God spoken to us individually. These are most often referred to as the Lord’s commandments.

Every step along the path of the doctrine of Christ requires following the commandments of the Lord given to us personally, and by keeping these commandments, we increase our ability to hear the voice of the Spirit; and by so doing, unlocks the power of God in our lives to eventually change us to become the sons and daughters of Christ, or in other words, saints — holy, without spot.

Exercising faith unlocks the grace of God, which is the power in Jesus Christ to save us through the shedding of his blood.

Each spiritual milestone on the path of ascension – baptism of fire/baptism of the Holy Ghost, the sealing of  priesthood, entering the rest of the Lord, and obtaining/exercising spiritual gifts requires us to exercise faith in Jesus Christ, i.e., seekingreceiving, and then acting on revelation from the Lord to us individually.
